Being home alone watching horror movies with your dog Mira next to in the sofa is not ideal when you are easily scared. Mira looked seemingly untouched by the horror on the screen while I trembled in fright, the bulldog drooled happily as I moved closer to her comfort. Suddenly my heart was up in my throat as I heard a light tapping noise on the back door, I screamed as Mirra went to investigate.
-” Mira!” I cried as I followed her, she stood by the door and looked at me with her do-as-i-command look. Carefully I opened the door, it was pitch dark out side.
-” hello?” I said, hoping no one would answer. “ is someone there? Hello?”
Mira suddenly started to growl when a figure stepped into the light coming from inside. I was relived, it was a person and not a monster.
-” heh, you scared me! Who are you?” I smiled, but my smile died when I saw that he was bleeding from his arm.
-” you're hurt, let me help you!”
I took his healthy arm and took him inside, this made Mira throw a tantrum. She barked, snarled and growled at the poor fellow like there was no tomorrow.
-” Mira, stop it!” I commanded, she stopped barking and growled at the man I had brought inside, whom was obviously scared of her.
-” Mira, stop! You are scaring him!” I commanded, she instantly stopped and walked out the room. That was odd for Mira to leave a stranger alone like that, she was always friendly.
-” I'm so sorry, she is usually kinder to strangers.” I apologized, the stranger glanced at me from inside of his white hoodie.
-” it's okay, I make many nervous!” his voice was harsh and raspy like he had not spoken for years.
-” let's take a look then!” I said, carefully I examined his injured right arm. It was full of minor cuts, nothing serious thankfully.
-” nothing that needs hospital care fortunately!” I said, carefully I rinsed his wounds and put a bandage on them.
-” there you are, nice as ever.”
-” thank you, but now you have to go to sleep!” the man pulled out a knife and pinned me to the counter.
-” stop!” I screamed in fear, he stopped in the middle of a movement. He had been about to cut my throat of, but now had he changed his mind? No, he was trying too cut me still, I could see him struggling against some unknown boundary. I took the opportunity to get a good look of his face. It was white, pale white. Black eyes with the lids cut off glared at me viciously. His mouth had been cut open to a huge smile, much like the joker from batman just a little bit more extreme. His hair was black and tangled.
-” who are you?” I asked. I could tell he didn't want to answer me, a vein was pulsating on his forehead.
-” I... am …. Jeff...” he finally said, his words was dragged out of his mouth by force.
-” why are you answering me when you only want to kill me?” it is a legit question!
-” you... are forcing … me to!”
-” how?”
before Jeff could answer a tall man in a black suit appeared next to us, his skin was white and his face was blank like a clean slate of paper, no nose, no ears, no eyes, nothing!
-” what is keeping you? We could get killed doing this!” The man in the suit seemed to know Jeff well. When Jeff didn't answer he looked over at me.
-” well done, Jeff! Your victim have some sort of voice based control over you, leave it to the idiot to find more problem!” the man seemed very unhappy with this. “ we might as well take you with us since you are more or less one of us now!”
with that the man in the suit picked me up and started carrying me out.
-” stop it! Let me down!” I screamed, there was no way I would let these freaks carry me away. To my surprise the tall man in the suit put me down.
-” you  are in danger here!” the man hissed.
-” from what?” I screamed.
-” your parents are out there hunting us now and they will stop at nothing to kill us!” the suit man explained.
-” why?”
-” they are monster hunters! Not even their adopted daughter will be able to stand in their way to kill us all!” Jeff hissed. He had not spoken for a while and his voice caught me by surprise.
-” ___, well done!”
I jumped when I heard my mothers voice behind me, I turned around and saw that she held a gun in her hand.
-” Mom? What's going on?” I asked, this was confusing and upsetting.
-” oh, nothing dear! You just caught the two most powerful monsters in your grip!” My mother smiled, not her usual nice smile but rather a psychotic smile that sent chills down my spine.
-” she is gonna kill us.” Jeff hissed.
-” I am going to let justice be done, you monster!” Mom snarled.
-” with out a trial?” I asked, why was mother so against them?
-” they are guilty!” mother snarled.
-” but innocent until other has been proven in court!” I stated.
-” you are so sweet, but your innocence is wasted on these criminals!”
-” do you have any proof?”
-” no, but we know they are guilty!”
-” you are free to go until you try to hurt me!”
Jeff wasted no time at all, as soon as the words had fallen from my lips he was over my mother with his knife held hight. I closed my eyes as he killed her, something warm landed on my bare feet. I opened my eyes and looked down, the warm stuff was blood. Before I could react I was picked up and carried out of my house in at an extremely high speed.
-” where are we going?” I asked, the high speed made it hard to talk.
-” home!” Jeff screamed. I couldn't see very well because of the dark.
-” you will receive training for your ability!” the man in the suit said. Before I could ask more a portal opened before us and we passed through.
-” what the flying fuck?”
we were in the middle of what looked almost like Halloween town from nightmare before x-mas, just a bit more colourful and dark.
-” we made it!” the man in the suit put me down, I was a big fan of nightmare before x-mas but this was beyond my comfort zone.
-” Jeff! Slender man! You made it back!!” three figures approached us, I only took notice of the front one because I recognised him. He was skinny, light brown skin, pitch black eyes but the most noticeable feature was that he had ling knifes for fingers. This thing had lived in my closet when I was a child, I was so sure it was him.
-” who is the girl?” he asked.
-” I have no idea, rake, but she could control both me and Jeff with her words.”
-” I...” I couldn't say anything, I was so scared. The Rake monster came closer to me.
-” well, go on dear! Command me!” he taunted. I stood paralysed for a moment.
-” come on!” he taunted.
-” GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!” I screamed, this made Rake-monster fly away from me, I ran in fear the other way when my paralysis had faded and I could feel warm tears fall down my cheeks.
-” i'll get her!” Jeff screamed before he went after me. I ran as fast as I could in the nearby forest, branches swept over my face and tangled in my hair.
-” ___! wait!”
it was obvious Jeff had picked up that from my mother before he killed her and it made me run faster away from these monsters. I ran deeper and deeper into the woods and I could hear Jeff behind me cursing at the obstinate in his way with I had easily avoided. After sometime of running I couldn't hear Jeff anymore and my chest hurt from running, I tripped over a rock and fell rather hard down on the ground. I decided to stay for awhile and just cry. Bad decision! As soon as I didn't get up Jeff pounced me. I screamed as loud as I could to get someone to help me, he held me down so I couldn't run away any more and he covered my mouth to silence my screams.
-” calm the fuck down! The way you scream could make somebody believe that I tried to fucking rape you!” Jeff hissed, this made me squirm for my life! I didn't want to be raped by him! Jeff's grip hardened and it hurt so much I started to cry.
-” calm down I'm not going to fucking rape you either!” Jeff almost laughed. “ look, I know this must be pretty fucking hard for you, but we are not your enemies! I know we kinda kidnapped you and killed your mother, but it was for your own good! Also look at it this way, here you can explore your power something the humans would kill you for.”
I stopped struggling and looked into his black eyes, I could tell he was really sorry.
-” ___, I'm going to let go of you now, don't do anything stupid.”
carefully Jeff let me go, I sat up.
-” are you okay?”
I sniffed and wiped my eyes.
-” n-not really.” I whimpered. “ the rake monster lived in my closet when I was a child.”
Jeff's mouth fell open in shock.
-” how the fuck did you survive?”
-” I told him to go away.” I sniffed. To my surprise Jeff suddenly hugged me.
-” had we known who you were, it would never had happened!” Jeff whispered in my ear, I sniffed and snuggled further into his arms, it was so warm and cosy.

Jeff pov

___'s body was slowly getting heavier in my grip, suddenly I heard her breath getting slow and steady. Had she fallen asleep? Yes, she had! I lifted ___ up bridal style and started carrying her to my place. I nuzzled my face in her hair, she smelled nice! Just like __( favourite smell)_! For being a girl I just tried to kill, she was rather calm in my presence.
When I finally arrived at my home Slender man and Rake was waiting for me.
-” did she calm down?” Rake asked, I showed him ___'s body. When I did this an invisible force pushed him backwards away from ____.
-” yes, but she told me you had haunted her as a child until she told you to go away.”
rake thought about it for a while.
-” yes, I seem to have a faint memory about that. I will check my files.” Rake said after awhile.
-” will you look after her, Jeff?” Slender man asked.
-” yes, I will since she seems to trust me.” I answered.
-” good, get some sleep, the night has been long. We will talk more tomorrow.” Slender man said. I nodded and went inside my house with ____ sound asleep in my arms.
